In a stern warning, Iran has cautioned the United Arab Emirates and other neighboring countries about what it perceives as the “highly dangerous consequences” of Israel’s expanding influence in the region. This caution follows the recent visit of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to Abu Dhabi, where he met with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on September 27.

Iran’s Foreign Ministry expressed strong opposition to Netanyahu’s visit, urging regional governments to exercise vigilance concerning increased Israeli engagements. The ministry further advised against allowing national territories to be utilized for activities that could potentially destabilize the region.

The meeting between Netanyahu and the UAE President was confirmed by the UAE, with discussions reportedly focusing on bilateral relations and regional challenges. This engagement underscores the ongoing diplomatic and security dynamics within the Gulf region, which is witnessing heightened tensions between Iran and Israel.

The developments come amid a backdrop of strained Iran-Israel relations, with Tehran’s latest remarks highlighting its concerns over the potential implications of Israel’s presence in the Gulf. As Israel continues to strengthen its ties with several Gulf states, Iran remains vigilant about preserving regional stability and security.
