Renowned actress Hayden Panettiere, celebrated for her performances in “Heroes,” “Nashville,” and the “Scream” film series, has passed away at the age of 36. Her representative confirmed the news, while her father, Skip Panettiere, remembered her as a “force of nature” and an “incredible light” who spread love and happiness to those around her. The cause of her death has not yet been disclosed.

Panettiere’s acting career began in her childhood, starting with commercials before she made her film debut voicing the character Dot in “A Bug’s Life.” She gained further attention in films like “Remember the Titans” and “Tiger Cruise.” However, it was her role as Claire Bennet in the popular television series “Heroes” that catapulted her to international fame at the age of 17. The series aired from 2006 to 2010 and remains one of her most iconic roles.

Further cementing her status in the entertainment industry, Panettiere starred as Juliette Barnes, a country music sensation, in the television series “Nashville.” Her portrayal earned her two Golden Globe nominations, and several songs she performed for the show reached the Billboard country music charts. Additionally, she appeared as Kirby Reed in “Scream 4” and reprised the role in the 2023 release of “Scream VI.”

Despite her professional achievements, Panettiere was candid about her personal challenges, including struggles with addiction and postpartum depression. She openly discussed these issues in later years and penned a memoir titled “This Is Me: A Reckoning,” published earlier this year, where she shared her journey toward recovery.

Panettiere is survived by her parents and her daughter, Kaya Klitschko. Her legacy in the film and television industry, along with her openness about personal hardships, continues to inspire many.
